What you actually get when you call a C-Bus specialist
The fault found in under an hour
We bring the C-Bus Network Analyser, Traffic Analyser, and Diagnostic Utility to every job — the same tools Clipsal uses. That means we identify the exact cause fast, not after a 3-hour guessing session at your expense.
Specialists, not generalists
Every technician at Cync Electrical is formally trained on the full Clipsal C-Bus platform and works with C-Bus systems every day. Not a general electrician who's seen a keypad once and is figuring it out as they go.
No surprises — ever
We explain exactly what we found and what it will cost to fix before we touch anything. Residential repairs start from $295. If parts are needed, we quote them before ordering. Commercial work is scoped upfront, in writing.
Your C-Bus system is broken and nobody seems to know why
These are the faults we're called out for most often across Sydney. If any of them sound like your situation, we can help.
LED lights glowing or flickering when switched off
C-Bus dimmers were designed for halogen loads. The very low minimum load of LEDs causes residual current to keep them dimly lit at zero — a software or hardware fix we resolve in a single visit.
Keypads or whole rooms not responding
Could be a tripped breaker, failing power supply, blown relay channel, or network communication fault affecting multiple zones. We pinpoint the exact cause with the Network Analyser on-site.
Lights turning on or off by themselves
Almost always a forgotten schedule, a drifted PIR sensor, a misfiring logic condition, or a rogue command from a third-party device. The Traffic Analyser identifies the source in minutes.
Touch screen black or completely unresponsive
Touch screens draw significantly more current than standard keypads. If bus voltage has dropped at that location, the screen goes black even when everything else looks normal.
All keypad indicator lights flashing
Classic symptom of a network impedance fault — the network's impedance has drifted outside the required 400–1,500 ohm range. The Network Analyser confirms and resolves this within the first hour.
Full system failure after a power outage
Usually a voltage surge has damaged the C-Bus power supply, or a circuit breaker has tripped. Check your switchboard first — if breakers are fine, the power supply module needs testing.
Why a general electrician usually isn't the answer
C-Bus is a specialist system. The gap between a generalist and a specialist is real — and it shows up in the bill and the number of visits.
Everything your C-Bus system needs, in one call
We service the full C-Bus range — from original DIN rail hardware and legacy keypads through to Wiser Air touch screens and Apple Home integration. Residential and commercial.
C-Bus Fault Finding & Repair
We bring the Network Analyser, Traffic Analyser, and Diagnostic Utility to every job. Whether it's a single unresponsive keypad or a full network failure across a commercial premises — we diagnose the exact cause, explain it clearly, and fix it. Most faults are resolved in a single visit.

C-Bus is all we do
Every technician at Cync Electrical is formally trained on the full Clipsal C-Bus platform. We work with these systems every day — in homes, offices, hotels, and strata complexes across Greater Sydney.

Why Cync Electrical?
We built our business around C-Bus — it's not a side service or an add-on. That focus means every technician knows the platform deeply, carries the right diagnostic equipment, and can identify faults that would leave a generalist stumped.
The C-Bus Network Analyser, Traffic Analyser, and Diagnostic Utility that we bring to every job are the same tools Clipsal uses. That equipment — and the expertise to interpret it — is what separates a 20-minute diagnosis from a 3-hour guessing session.

C-Bus questions — answered by our technicians
The questions Sydney homeowners and commercial managers ask us most often. Call 0422 253 379 if yours isn't covered here.
In 90% of cases, no. Most older Sydney C-Bus installations fail due to specific component wear (like power supplies or output units). We specialise in identifying the individual faulty module and replacing only what is necessary, saving you thousands compared to a full system overhaul.
Yes. Cync Electrical provides priority service across Greater Sydney, from Palm Beach down to the Sutherland Shire. If your lights won’t turn off or your keypad is flashing, we can usually get a Schneider-certified technician to your property within 24–48 hours.
C-Bus is a microprocessor-based control system, not standard 240V wiring. Standard electricians often lack the C-Bus Toolkit diagnostic software required to talk to the network. We use official Schneider software to perform a digital "health check" to see exactly what is happening inside your walls.
Absolutely. We can integrate legacy C-Bus networks with modern smart home interfaces like Wiser, Apple HomeKit, or Google Home. This allows you to control your Sydney home via voice or mobile app without needing to rewire your entire property.
Yes, we manage C-Bus maintenance for several commercial strata and office complexes in the Sydney CBD and Inner West. We offer scheduled testing, lighting logic programming, and energy-saving sensor optimisations for large-scale networks.
